Friday Night Pre-Show Party!
Red Cent Bar, Morris, IL
We’re trying a new, bigger location this year. It’s just down the street from the old bar with more parking and a beer garden. Expect drink and food specials!
The Hangovers (Chicago/Joliet, IL)
Featuring Sean of the Hot Rod Hucksters and Tim Konn from the Psychobilly Kadillaks. We don’t know what to expect, but we know it will be good!

Including members of the Bottletones and Venus Flycats, these guys will rock you! Fueled by booze and an unnatural need for speed, Hillbilly Idle comes to the stage with a vicious combination of Rockabilly, Punk, Country, and Surf. This ain’t your Grandad’s Rockabilly.

The Show
Band Pavillion (look on the map here)

.357 String Band (Milwaukee, WI)

These guys are a true bluegrass band that is equally at home making their audience feel the desperation of old-school punk and outlaw country as they are with the frenzy of Irish music and good, old mountain hillbilly music. They list their influences as: Poverty, Depression, Love, Unity, Murder, Mayhem, Addiction and Affliction. That’s about right. Yup.
Phantom Cruisers (Bloomington, IN)

Rockabilly. Psychobilly. It doesn’t matter what you call it, these guys are dang good at it!

The Stacks (Chicago, IL)
http://www.myspace.com/thestacks
We decided to mix things up this year… with a big stick! The Stacks have been drivin’ ‘em wild around Chicago with that big early 60s Memphis soul groove (played Chicago-style, of course!). The band features members of several local rockabilly, garage, and surf bands, including the Reluctant Aquanauts. You can try to deny it, but yer gonna wanna dance.

Saturday Night Post-Show Party!!
Red Cent Bar, Morris, IL

The Pinks (Chicago, IL)
http://www.myspace.com/thepinksrock
Back by popular demand! Take a heapin’ helpin’ of good ol’ 60s garage pop from the likes of The Kinks, The Shirelles, and The Yardbirds, then add a glop of pop punk from Blondie, The Ramones, and The Clash, and stir it up with Link Wray’s guitar and you’ve got a darn good garage band. If you missed them last year, here’s that rare second chance.
The Nevermores (St. Louis)
http://www.myspace.com/thenevermores
Are you ready for wild teenage garage rock? These garage monsters are guaranteed to blow the roof off the dump! Including members of the legendary Fuzztones, these guys draw as much influence from Vincent Price, Edgar Allan Poe, and Roger Corman as they do from bands like Davie Allan & the Arrows, the Sonics, the Woggles and the Mono Men.
